About Us
Little Prodigies Child Development Center is a licensed, play-based, arts focused, childcare center.
We focus on developing the social and emotional well-being of children 6 weeks through 5 years old. We have five age-appropriate classrooms that make up our center allowing children to grow and be cared for with their peers as they all hit developmental milestones at similar times.

Our History
Little Prodigies started as an idea between two young parents. Jennifer and Wes’s first child, Conner, was born in 2009. While they began looking into childcare for Conner, they felt a calling to do something they had never considered before – open an arts-based childcare center.
On September 9, 2009, Little Prodigies’ doors opened to the first children and families. 17 families were enrolled the first day. Each week enrollment grew, word around town started to build momentum for the new center, until the center was full several months later. The rest is history!
Affiliated Schools
In addition to Little Prodigies, Jennifer and Wes own three additional schools, each with their own personalities. In 2011, University Childcare Center was opened in collaboration with UGA; in 2018 Piedmont Athens Regional Child Development Center was opened in collaboration with Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, and in 2015, Wes and Jennifer took ownership of The Busy Box Daycare- a faith based childcare center located in nearby Danielsville, GA.
